‘Things Take Time’ is the latest exhibition opened at the Center for Openness and Dialogue, bringing together MAGNUM artists who work in the medium of photography. The works of artists: Alex Majoli, Carl De Keyzer, Enri Canaj, Martin Parr, Nicos Economopoulos are exhibited in the entire space of the exhibition space.
The exhibition demonstrates a historical reality after the fall of communism in Eastern Europe in the early 1990s that also led to the fall of communism in the Balkans.
‘The exhibit demonstrates a historical reality that can function as a motive to open a discussion about the current state of the country, in dialogue with the past, with the conviction that the past, present and future are tightly interwoven.’ – says Sylvia Sachini, the curator of the exhibition in the curatorial text.
The body of work exhibited was created between 1991 – 2010. The exhibition will remain open to the public from July 17 to August 17, 2024, Tirana.
