Harabel Contemporary in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce and FAB Gallery of the Faculty of Fine Arts,  University of Tirana, presented the exhibition “Piccolo Mare” (Small Sea) with the support of the Italian Embassy and the Italian Cultural Institute.
This exhibition was inspired by the sixteenth edition of the National Prize of Arts, a national competition of students of the Academies of Fine Arts, held by the Ministry of University and Research, which was held in the city of Lecce, November 18 to December 16.

The exhibition “Piccolo Mare” collected all the works of the sections exhibited in the sixteenth edition of the PNA (National Prize of Arts) and works by students of the University of Arts of Tirana.

The purpose of this event was to focus on the need of the new generations to create new forms of understanding, coexistence, interaction, especially after the pandemic, with the hope that art will induce reflection, bringing to life the communicative and creative aspects that the new Europe needs.
This project confirms the solid and natural collaboration between the two countries and their cultures, united by the sea and countless historical and social aspects, and aims to increase the promotion of educational exchange among young artists.
The exhibition will be open from 31 January to 14 February 2023 in the Harabel and FAB galleries.
